In Latin jazz, the rhythmic diversity of Latin America and the freedom of jazz and improvisation merge to form a captivating musical language. Few ensembles embody this fusion as impressively as the César Correa Trio, which already wowed our audience at the JazzHall SummerFestival 2025.
The trio – comprising César Correa, Eduardo ‘Dudu’ Penz and Ricardo ‘Chicho’ Castillo – will be joined by special guest Ivonne González this evening. The Cuban singer takes the audience on a musical journey from Peru via Cuba to Uruguay.
In doing so, she pays tribute to the great women of Latin American music and, with her warm voice, showcases the full breadth of her repertoire.
